Art of Ceremony

A path of practice drawing from traditional medicine, psychology, and the meditation paths to bring us closer to our own true nature, and to hold that nature for others in ritual space.

Next Workshop: Saturday, October 3 · 10 am – 5 pm · Woodacre, Marin Co. · Self-Clearing and Protection

A community of practice for the rhythms of healing

Siripiari is a community of practice. We do the practices that carry our inner work and our communion with the divine, in step with the natural cycles and seasons: meditation and mindful movement, therapeutic relationship, and ritual in nature. The Art of Ceremony is the craft within that path.

Ceremony is our most ancient technology for human beings to come into balance, to heal, and to commune with the numinous. Moreso, it’s a sacred conversation from our heart to the heart of Creation.

Long before there was a clinical language for trauma, integration, or transformation, there was ritual — a deliberate shaping of space, attention, and energy that in turn changed physical reality. And through this process, we come into conversation with something much deeper and more Real than the habitual thinking mind.

Art of Ceremony is a training in that craft that draws together the tools and traditional ancestral medicines and systemic, body-based, relational psychotherapy.

It teaches the underlying grammar of effective ceremonial structures, offer practices for protecting and utilizing subtle energies, and a community to support you in cultivating these practices over time.

The outcome is that you’ll learn to make a more effective healing ritual with less effort, whether it’s with one person, in a dyad, or in your own private practice.

Three ways in

Lunar circles. Free monthly gatherings on the moon: meditation, movement, and a short ritual in the rhythm of the season. The open door of the community; come as you are.

Daylongs. In-person days of practice for anyone on the path who wants to go deeper into the craft. Each is complete in itself. Fall 2026: Self-Clearing and Protection (October 3), The Field: Making Deeper Spaces (November 21), Holding the Sacred in Ritual Spaces (December).

The training. A six-month apprenticeship for those who hold ritual space for others: a monthly in-person daylong plus a weekly one-hour online circle, January through June 2027, cohort of 10–12 by application. Begins January 23. Details and an information evening in December.

Who is this for?

The daylongs are for practitioners of the path: therapists, guides, somatic practitioners, ceremonialists, teachers, and serious students of ceremony and life who want to root their practice in earth, ritual, and contemplative depth. A guide and a seeker sit in the same room.

The training is for those who will hold the room for others.

It is for people who suspect the dominant therapeutic and spiritual paradigms are not enough, and who want to learn what else is possible. Here we slow down, feel the body, and learn to listen to the way Reality guides the work.

No prior experience with ceremony is required. What is required is the willingness to arrive — and the intention to hold this for others.

If you are seeking healing rather than training, you are warmly welcome in our lunar gatherings and counseling. That is where the community practices together or where we can advise on personal healing; this training is for those who want to learn to hold the room.

The Fall Daylongs

Three in-person days of practice, one for each turn of the season. Each is complete in itself; together they form a foundation in the core movements of ceremonial work. Come to one, or come to all three.

December 19 / Holding the Sacred: An Inquiry into Our Own Mystical Heart

Prayer, altar, and relationship with the more-than-human world.

Every ceremony rests on something that can't be taught as technique: the facilitator's own living relationship with the sacred. This day is an inquiry into that relationship. We'll explore prayer, how we call upon and work with guides, making real relationship with the earth, with archetypes, and with the more-than-human realm that ceremony has always depended on.

October 3 / Subtle Body Self Care: Clearing and Protection

Sensing, clearing, and protecting the energetic body. For everyone who leaves a room carrying what isn't theirs. Learn to sense the subtle body, release what you've absorbed, restore your own center, and build the kind of protection that comes from presence rather than armor. Movement, stillness, sound, and time in the ritual field.

November 21 / The Field: Making Deeper Spaces

How coherent ceremonial space is built, entered, and held. The presence field is the basis of all ceremony. Learn how a field is established, what deepens it, what breaks it, and how to hold it steady for others as they go further than they could alone. We'll work with the ritual grammar of Grounding, Clearing, Expanding, Listening, and Close, and practice building a space together.

Go deeper into the Art of Ceremony

For those who feel called to go deeper, the fall daylongs prepare the ground for the Art of Ceremony training: a six-month apprenticeship in earth-based contemplative practice and ceremonial craft. It begins January 23, 2027 and combines a weekly one-hour online circle with a monthly in-person daylong, in a cohort of 10 to 12 by application. It is for practitioners, guides, and serious students who will hold ceremonial space for others, in their work, in their communities, and in their lives. Details and an information evening in December.

  • The Art of Ceremony course with Jordana was not only insightful but also very supportive. It helped me to reinforce stronger foundations for my spiritual practices as well as for the ways I show up in service. Getting a clearer understanding on how to incorporate natural rhythms and wisdom into our daily practice as well as in the way we integrate experiences. Feeling grateful for these teachings.

  • The Art of Ceremony was an excellent course that deepened my understanding of navigating medicine paths. It served as a lovely remembrance and integration of deep practices for cultivating presence, connection, and a wise relationship with medicine, nature, ceremony, and self. Jordana is an excellent facilitator, well-steeped in experience and wisdom, with the kind and patient demeanor befitting the navigation of this potent terrain. Whether you are an experienced facilitator of journeys for others, an interested neophyte, or somewhere in between, this course offers a rich and balanced exploration of what it means to hold space for oneself, as well as for others, in the context of sacred medicine work, meditation, sound healing, and the ceremony of everyday life. Highly recommended!

  • This class exposed me to concepts of energy, embodiment and healing which I’d never considered before, and which have quickly become essential parts of my work with clients. The teaching was engrossing, practical, and deeply illuminating, seamlessly blending allopathic and indigenous wisdom.
