Learn Energetic Hygiene to Protect Your Journeys, Yourself, and Your Clients

An experiential course for learning the basic, essential skills for subtle-body self-care, containment, and clearing from traditional medicine and modern psychology.

I talk to so many healers, therapists, guides, and space holders who end their days depleted, over-empathic, or carrying home what was never theirs. Is that you?

Most of us who do this work were trained in clinical or facilitation skills, but never taught the most foundational thing: how to take care of our own subtle bodies.

Traditional medicines and earth-based healing traditions have always taught these skills first. They are the foundation to all other practice.

This includes: how to stay grounded, how to be protected, how to clear exogenous energies, how to balance excesses and depletion, and how to direct presence while working closely with others and while holding deep and transformative spaces.

Subtle Body Self Care bridges traditional medicine and somatic psychology for safer, deeper therapy and guide work — teaching the necessary basics for cultivating Presence and containment, energetic protection, and clearing. Over six weeks, supported by an aligned community, you'll learn these skills and build a regular, sustainable practice.

Curriculum

Each 2-hour session weaves three strands: a practice you learn in the body, a skill of energetic hygiene, and the shadow pattern the work meets.

Week 1 What is the Presence Field and Subtle Body?

Skill: Learning a framework + the minimum viable practice / Shadow: Materialism

Week 2 Sensing

Skill: Sensing the Energetic Field / Shadow: Unsafe to feel embodiment

Week 3 Grounding

Skill: Opening the Lower Dan Tien / Shadow: Overempathy + Merging

Week 4 Organic Yes and No

Skill: Learning Boundary Protection / Shadow: Repressed Anger

Week 5 Clearing

Skill: Releasing What you’ve absorbed / Shadow: Injured Will and Dismempowerment

Week 6 Integration

Skill: Creating a Sustainable Practice / Shadow: Ideals, Bypassing + Perfectionism

Who it's for

Therapists, guides, healers, facilitators, bodyworkers, ceremony leaders — anyone who holds space for others and wants to do it sustainably, without depletion or burnout. No prior energy-work training required; useful for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.

  • The Art of Ceremony course with Jordana was not only insightful but also very supportive. It helped me to reinforce stronger foundations for my spiritual practices as well as for the ways I show up in service. Getting a clearer understanding on how to incorporate natural rhythms and wisdom into our daily practice as well as in the way we integrate experiences. Feeling grateful for these teachings.

  • The Art of Ceremony was an excellent course that deepened my understanding of navigating medicine paths. It served as a lovely remembrance and integration of deep practices for cultivating presence, connection, and a wise relationship with medicine, nature, ceremony, and self. Jordana is an excellent facilitator, well-steeped in experience and wisdom, with the kind and patient demeanor befitting the navigation of this potent terrain. Whether you are an experienced facilitator of journeys for others, an interested neophyte, or somewhere in between, this course offers a rich and balanced exploration of what it means to hold space for oneself, as well as for others, in the context of sacred medicine work, meditation, sound healing, and the ceremony of everyday life. Highly recommended!

  • This class exposed me to concepts of energy, embodiment and healing which I’d never considered before, and which have quickly become essential parts of my work with clients. The teaching was engrossing, practical, and deeply illuminating, seamlessly blending allopathic and indigenous wisdom.
